Muxunav develops for Onnera Group an unattended payment system for laundries that will be marketed internationally under brands such as Fagor Professional, Domus, Primer and Danube, reinforcing its expansion to more than 50 countries.

From this month, according to the Navarre company, the multinational Onnera Group is marketing the system in its Fagor Professional, Domus, Primer and Danube catalogues.

This important milestone for the firm comes after it multiplied its turnover tenfold over the last two years and moved to new premises in Noáin. As Navarra Capital reported, the company earned €800,000 in 2023 and expects to reach €1.5 million in 2024.

The company led by Antonio Torres moved to new offices in Noáin this year.

The Navarre company Muxunav, a specialist in unattended payment methods and telemetry solutions, won a competition to develop the payment system that the multinational Onnera Group has been marketing internationally since this month in the catalogues of brands such as Fagor Professional, Domus, Primer and Danube.

With this development and service agreement, the company will be present in more than 50 countries in 2025.

The payment system consists of a 32-inch touchscreen on which the programme and the washing machine are selected and all the service information is displayed. It also features a latest-generation touch card reader, integrated within the support cabinet of the payment kiosk.

In this regard, the Navarre firm detailed that it is ready to operate in all the countries of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Mexico and Chile, among others. It is also expected that, within a few months, it can be introduced in the United States as well.

“For Muxunav this is undoubtedly a hugely important milestone. It lets us enter through the front door and hand in hand with the sector’s biggest benchmark, into a field we had not explored, such as unattended-payment laundries. Moreover, it aligns perfectly with our internationalisation plan”, underlined Muxunav’s CEO, Antonio Torres.

Exponential growth

This important step for the firm, which is backed by Sodena, comes after it multiplied its turnover tenfold over the last two years and moved to new premises in Noáin.

As Navarra Capital reported, the company earned €800,000 in 2023 and expects to reach €1.5 million in 2024.

Among other reasons, these results are a consequence of the good reception its flagship product, Telmarkt, is having in the market. In addition, Eika, part of Corporación Mondragon, acquired a stake in the company two years ago and also brings the firm its engineering expertise.
